How does PAR level calculation work?

TrackItWeekly calculates a rolling 3-week average of actual usage per item. Auto-suggested PAR levels are that average multiplied by a 1.5x safety buffer, rounded to the nearest half case. Auto-suggested levels display with an asterisk (*) so you always know which are data-driven and which you set manually.

What do the Green, Yellow, and Red indicators mean?

Green means stock is above PAR — no action needed. Yellow means stock is close to PAR — consider ordering. Red means stock is below PAR — the item is automatically added to your order list.

Does it work offline?

Yes. Offline mode is built in. If you lose signal in a walk-in freezer, basement, or at an event, all counts queue on your device and sync automatically when connection returns.

Yes. The Count Date field defaults to today but can be changed. You can enter a count for any past date to keep your history accurate.

No. Camera scanning works on any iPhone or Android without extra hardware. If you want faster scanning in high-volume environments, any Bluetooth HID-compatible scanner works — including Zebra, Honeywell, Socket Mobile, and Tera.

How do I connect a Bluetooth scanner?

Yes. Each location is a separate store with its own inventory catalog and count template. The Dashboard shows all locations in aggregate by default. One tap on the store filter shows a single location.

How does role-based access work?

Admins see all stores and all data. Standard users see only the stores they are assigned to. Staff can count and view stock guidance without seeing financial data, item costs, or other locations.

How do I add a new location quickly?

Use Duplicate Store. Tap the copy icon next to any existing store. TrackItWeekly creates the new store and copies the entire inventory catalog — every item, price, category, and detail — in one tap. The new location is ready to count immediately.

Go to Settings, then Manage Team. Enter their email address, assign them to one or more stores, and optionally grant Admin access. They receive an email invitation to create their account.

There is no live API connection to Shopify. TrackItWeekly has a dedicated Shopify/Stocky migration tool — import your Stocky CSV export and your full inventory catalog is ready to count immediately.

Stocky is shutting down. Can I migrate?

Not via API. You can export your full item list as a CSV at any time for use in accounting tools.
